Three steps from a question about a website to an informed decision.

Type a name or a site address into the search, or open a category and compare cards side by side.
Read what people wrote
Every card shows how the stars are spread. Filter by the number of stars to see praise or complaints on their own. Each review stays in the language it was written in.
Add your own review
Pick the stars, sign with a name and describe what happened. It takes about two minutes and the review appears on the company page at once.
What you can rely on
A few simple rules that apply to every card in the catalog.
Words of the authors
We do not rewrite reviews. A company may answer under a review, but the answer never replaces it and does not change the rating.
Original language
A review is shown in the language its author used, on every language version of the site, so nothing is lost in translation.
Rating that follows the reviews
The number on a card is the average of the reviews that are published right now. When a review is hidden, the average is recalculated.
A report on every review
Each review has a report form. Personal data, insults, spam and off-topic posts are checked and hidden if they break the rules.
How to read a company rating
The large number on a company page is the average of its published reviews, rounded to a tenth. One review carries one rating from one to five stars and one language.
Next to the number you will see a short word and a row of stars. The gold part of the last star shows the fraction, so 4.6 is almost five stars and 4.1 is a little over four.
Look at the bars as well as the average. A card with a few reviews can move a lot after one new rating, while a card with dozens of reviews changes slowly. The number of reviews is always shown next to the score.
How to write a useful review
Reviews that help other people share a few traits.
- Say what happened: what you bought or used, and roughly when.
- Keep to what you saw yourself. Facts help more than guesses.
- Leave out phone numbers, email addresses and home addresses of other people.
- Do not add links, except to the company’s own site.
- Choose stars that match the text. A review must be between 30 and 2000 characters.

Questions and answers
Do I need an account to write a review?
No. Open the company page, choose the stars, enter a name and write the text. A reader account is optional and only collects your reviews in one place.
In which language can I write?
In English, German, Spanish, French, Italian or Russian. The text stays exactly as you wrote it and is shown to readers on every language version of the site.
Why was my review not accepted?
The text must be from 30 to 2000 characters and cannot contain links to other sites. A second review of the same company from one address within 30 days is rejected, and so are identical texts.
How is the rating calculated?
It is the average of the company’s published reviews, rounded to a tenth, and it is recalculated automatically whenever a review is added or hidden.
How do I report a review?
Open the line “Report this review” under the text, choose a reason and send it. Reports are checked automatically, and a review that breaks the rules is hidden.
Can a company delete a review?
No. A company can answer publicly and the answer is shown under the review. A review is hidden only when it breaks the rules of the site.
My company is not in the catalog. What now?
Search for its site address: an empty card opens for any domain. Then register on corporate.sitereviews.org to take over the page.
Are reviews checked before they appear?
Reviews appear right after they are sent and are not edited. Later, reports and automatic checks can hide a review that breaks the rules.
Does a company’s reply change its rating?
No. The reply is shown under the review, and the rating stays the average of the reviews.
How do companies invite their customers to review?
With a personal one-time link: one link accepts one review. Companies connect it through the API and the webhook, and the plans are listed on corporate.sitereviews.org.
